Planned gifts help to ensure the strength and continuity of Shir Hadash.  A planned gift is one that is committed during a donor’s lifetime naming Shir Hadash as the beneficiary at the time of the donor’s death.

We invite you to consider expressing your commitment to our community and providing essential support for the congregation by including Shir Hadash in your estate plans.  You can make the synagogue a beneficiary in a number of ways including (but not limited to): 

• Will or bequest of cash, real estate, securities, or other property

• Life insurance

• IRA and retirement accounts

• Charitable remainder trust

• Donor advised fund

 

Planned gifts can offer donors significant tax benefits as part of estate planning and may also be structured to provide income to donors during their lifetimes. Additionally, such gifts will ensure that Shir Hadash endures and prospers for future generations as a welcoming community that supports, educates and provides a spiritual home for all who come through our doors.
